July 2001
JESCOMEAO helped OCIC/Unda organize and
conduct a workshop to train Asian Catholic Women Communicators in
developing media skills they can use in pastoral work and rights
promotion. The women from Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos,
Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan,
Thailand, and Vietnam attended the June training sessions in Bangkok.
